Details
The Schacht Ladybug Lazy Kate is a tensioned lazy kate built specifically for the Schacht Ladybug spinning wheel. Instead of standing free on the floor, it integrates directly into the wheel's front leg, so it travels with the wheel rather than as a separate piece. Made in Boulder, Colorado.
For Ladybug spinners who travel, sit at varying spaces, or simply want fewer pieces to keep track of, the wheel-mounted design is the natural choice. Tensioning prevents bobbins from over-spinning when yarn is pulled off, which protects the twist of the singles during plying.
Fits the Ladybug only. For an alternative that works across all four Schacht wheels, see the Industrious Collapsible Lazy Kate.
