LeClerc Dorothy 24 Inch Table Loom - 4 or 8 Shaft Options

The Dorothy 24 is LeClerc's side lever table loom at the wider width, in 4 or 8 shafts, with every feature of the Dorothy 15 3/4. Each shaft has its own lever on the side of the loom, graduated in length with a colored tab, so the shafts are easy to pick out and one move selects or releases a shaft. A friction brake holds the back beam, and the front lever releases it when you advance the cloth.

LeClerc builds it for schools, summer camps, occupational therapy and hobby weavers, and its base folds for carrying and storage.

Shafts

The 4 shaft comes with its levers on the right, and the 8 shaft adds a second section with its levers on the left. A 4 shaft goes to 8 later with LeClerc's 4 shaft section for the 24, which brings the longer frame parts the conversion needs.

Spares and add-ons

The Dorothy 4 shaft section takes a 4 shaft to 8. The loom stand sets the loom at weaving height, with side shelves or without, and the treadle stand turns the 4 shaft into a foot-powered loom. A second warp beam fits it too, and spare slim boat shuttles match the one in the box.

For 12 shafts in a Dorothy, the Dorothy 15 3/4 takes them, and at this width LeClerc's Voyageur 24 goes to 16.
