The Ashford e-Spinner Super Jumbo puts the super jumbo flyer and bobbin of the Country Spinner 2 on a 12 volt motor, so you can spin and ply big batches of chunky, creative and textured yarn without treadling. It arrives assembled and lacquered, and it travels in its padded bag.

Spare bobbins
It runs only its own super jumbo sliding hook flyer, which takes the Super Jumbo Bobbin, the same bobbin the Country Spinner 2 uses. A two-ply needs three bobbins, because the empty one you're winding onto counts. That's the one in the box plus two spares, and the Super Jumbo Lazy Kate holds the full ones while you ply.

The Super Jumbo is for chunky, textured and art yarn and big plying batches, with a 1 1/8 in orifice, a 3 lb bobbin and speeds up to 500 rpm. The e-Spinner 3 runs up to 1,800 rpm through a 5/8 in orifice onto 8 oz bobbins, so it's the lighter machine if most of your yarn is fine to medium.
Yes. The Country Spinner bobbin is the standard bobbin on the e-Spinner Super Jumbo, so they swap between the two machines.
Spin bulky yarn through the open orifice, fit the larger bush for medium yarn and the small one for fine yarn. The bushes also stop the yarn vibrating, and drafting at about a 45 degree angle to the orifice helps too.
Put two full bobbins on a lazy kate, tie both singles to the leader, set the twist switch to S twist (up) and start on slow. The kate is sold separately.
Short flashes mean it's on standby, with the speed at zero or the foot switch off. Long flashes mean the adapter is under load, which won't harm it, so add a drop of oil to the flyer and bobbin bearings, loosen the brake and slow down until it stops.
