The Baby Wood Bobbin is the smallest bobbin in the Majacraft wood range, built to run on the lace flyer. It works as a plying bobbin for your Lace Kit or as a high-volume, high-speed bobbin for fine and lace-weight spinning.
Built with the same construction as all of Majacraft's wood bobbins, each Baby is crafted from laser-cut bamboo ply, with 3D-printed rings and fibreglass tubes for a lightweight, low-inertia result that runs quietly and smoothly.
Ply up to two lace bobbins of yarn onto a single Baby, or use it on its own to hold a large amount of fine yarn at speed. It takes the same size flyer as the Lace Bobbins and fits Majacraft lazy kates for easy plying.

A standard pair of socks usually takes 100g of fingering weight, while a hat takes about 100g of worsted.For Spinning Fiber, a standard 4oz braid will generally make a pair of socks or a hat.
