The Ashford Basic Jumbo Flyer (BJFU) is a non-sliding jumbo flyer for single drive wheels, for chunky and novelty yarn, production spinning and plying. It has screw-in hooks and comes with one Jumbo Bobbin.

Thread the hooks into the arms and swap your wheel's front flyer bearing for the jumbo one. To go back to your standard flyer, push the jumbo bearing bush into that bearing, so the maiden stays on. If your drive band doesn't reach, use the one in the box.

Yes. It fits the Traveller 3 as well as single drive Traditional and Traveller wheels.
Both take the same Jumbo Bobbin and have the same ratios. The Basic Jumbo Flyer has fixed screw-in hooks you move the yarn between, and the Sliding Hook Jumbo Flyer has guides that slide along the arms.
It comes in natural beech. Wax or seal it before you use it, which protects the wood from lanolin and marks over the years.
