Details
The Ashford Fringe Twister makes a twisted fringe on scarves, handwoven garments and needlework, quickly and evenly. It also twists yarn into decorative cord for embellishing, edging and jewelry, and twists fiber for felting.
Clamp it to a table, split each fringe group in half and clip each half, so the four clips twist two groups at once. Ashford suggests 4 to 6 wool strands or 6 to 8 cotton warp ends per group. Turn the handle clockwise and count the turns, so every group gets the same twist. Then knot the two halves together near the end, and they'll twist back around each other into the fringe.
