The black band that drives the bobbin on the Majacraft Aura, fitted at the factory. The Aura runs two drive bands rather than one, each on its own free-spinning whorl: a green polycord band on the flyer, and this black Dacron band on the bobbin.
The two do different jobs. The green band has three positions and carries the wheel's spinning ratios, so it is the one that sets your twist. The black band has two, and between those and the tension knob it sets how hard the bobbin pulls, which is take-up rather than speed. That split is the whole point of the modified double drive: you dial in twist and take-up independently instead of trading one against the other.
The Aura Overdrive ships with the same black band, so this is the replacement for either wheel. Genuine Majacraft and brand new.
The Aura's other band is the green polycord Suzie / Aura / Luna Drive Band. The rest of the spares live in the Majacraft collection.
