The factory drive wheel for the Majacraft Suzie: a 13 In (330mm) Rimu veneer MDF disc carrying the same laser engraved New Zealand Clematis motif as the wheel it came off. The MDF core makes it heavy, which helps it hold momentum between treadle strokes and keeps it stable as humidity changes. The Rimu veneer matches the rest of the wheel.
Specs
- Diameter: 13 In (330mm)
- Material: Rimu veneer MDF
- Engraving: New Zealand Clematis motif

Fitting It to an Older Suzie
This drive wheel runs a 10mm drive shaft. A Suzie built with the earlier 8mm shaft needs two 10mm Handle Bushes before it will take one, and the conduit inside the handle assembly sometimes needs sanding before the new bushes seat. Past that it is a straight swap. Measure your shaft before ordering if you are not sure which one you have.
Compatible With
Fits the Majacraft Suzie. The Suzie Pro takes its own Majacraft Green drive wheel. The polycord drive band that runs on it is sold separately, and the rest of the spares live in the Majacraft collection.
