The 32 oz orifice bar for SpinOlution spinning wheels. The orifice bar is the removable piece that completes the flyer assembly and locks the bobbin in place during spinning, attaching to the flyer arms via magnets for SpinOlution's quick-change bobbin system. Available in three interchangeable styles and two rod diameters.

Important: Measure Your Rod Diameter Before Ordering

The 32 oz flyer rod comes in two diameters depending on when your wheel was made. Order the wrong diameter and the orifice bar will not fit. Measure before adding to cart:

  • Wheels made before 2017: 1/4 In rod
  • Wheels made 2017 to 2019: may vary, measure before ordering
  • Wheels made 2018 and later: 3/8 In rod

The easiest way to measure is to check the hole in an existing bobbin or measure the flyer rod directly. Mistakes are most common on 32 oz orders, where customers may not know which rod they have. The wrong diameter is an order error that costs return shipping, so confirm before placing an order.

Choose Your Style

  • Hook: the standard style that ships with every SpinOlution wheel. An open hook orifice that's fully bypassable, allowing complete freedom to spin anything from fine yarns to super bulky or heavily embellished art yarns without snagging or restriction.
  • Tube: a 3D-printed tube with a standard round orifice. The closest match to how most other modern wheel brands set up their orifices, and a familiar feel for spinners coming from another brand.
  • Delta: a 3D-printed tube with a delta-shaped opening engineered to keep yarn centered while spinning. Best suited for fine, precise yarn work.

All three styles are interchangeable on the same flyer at the same rod diameter, so many spinners keep more than one on hand and switch by feel or by yarn type.

Compatibility

The 32 oz orifice bar fits any 32 oz flyer on a SpinOlution wheel of the matching rod diameter: the Echo, Monarch, Firefly, and Hopper.
