One of our favorite features of the SpinOlution wheel collection is the Magnetic Hook Orifice & Bobbins. Set-up is easy & you'll be spinning in no time with your Pollywog! SpinOlution Pollywog wheels come standard with the most efficient whorl on the market, the Golden Whorl, promising a 30% energy savings while treadling.
If your Pollywog orifice is too low for your personal preference, add the orifice riser to your wheel and get +3 inches of height added to your orifice. Click HERE to see it!
After learning how to spin on the standard 4oz flyer head, you can add the accelerator to your wheel for multiple, faster ratios. You can also upgrade your Pollywog to the 12oz flyer head to allow for more yardage, or for spinning bulky & art yarns.
The by-passable orifice allows you to spin bulky, ply creative, or add embellishments. A tube orifice accessory is also available to add to your 4 or 12oz flyer head if you prefer spinning with a closed orifice.

A standard pair of socks usually takes 100g of fingering weight, while a hat takes about 100g of worsted.For Spinning Fiber, a standard 4oz braid will generally make a pair of socks or a hat.
