What Each Piece Does
- 4 oz flyer: fine to medium yarn.
- 12 oz flyer: three times the capacity, for bulky singles, art yarn and plying.
- Accelerator: bolts on to either flyer for 18 ratios up to 43.5:1, the range for lace singles and thread.
- Orifice riser: lifts the orifice 3 In, from 19.25 In to 22.25 In, for taller spinners. Run the riser or the accelerator, not both at once.
- Hook and tube orifice bars: the hook bar gives the open, bypassable orifice for creative plies and embellishments; the tube bar closes it for spinners who prefer a classic orifice. Both flyers get one of each.

A standard pair of socks usually takes 100g of fingering weight, while a hat takes about 100g of worsted.For Spinning Fiber, a standard 4oz braid will generally make a pair of socks or a hat.
