Personalize your SpinOlution bobbins with hand-engraved Wildflowers or Honeycomb patterns. Each bobbin is engraved by SpinOlution in the USA before it ships, turning a working part of your wheel into a personal touch in your studio.
Choose Your Pattern
Two pattern options, both engraved into the wooden end of the bobbin:
- Wildflowers: a flowing botanical pattern of small blooms and leaves, suited for spinners who want softer, organic detail.
- Honeycomb: a geometric hexagonal pattern, cleaner and more structured, with a graphic feel.
Engraving is offered for 4oz, 8oz, 16oz, and 32oz bobbins. Engraving is not currently available on 12oz or 64oz bobbins. Pricing scales by bobbin size.
How to Order
Each variant covers engraving for one bobbin. Set the quantity to match the number of bobbins you'd like engraved with that pattern. For example, three 16oz bobbins all engraved with Wildflowers means quantity 3 of "One Large Bobbin 16oz/32oz - Wildflowers."
Compatibility

Each fiber has its own feel and function. Merino is super soft and great for next-to-skin wear. BFL (Bluefaced Leicester) is strong, with a lovely luster. Need help deciding? Reach out! We’re happy to help.
For Yarn, check your pattern's yardage requirements. A standard pair of socks usually takes 100g of fingering weight, while a hat takes about 100g of worsted.For Spinning Fiber, a standard 4oz braid will generally make a pair of socks or a hat. For larger garments like sweaters, you will likely need 1.5 to 2 lbs of fiber.Still unsure? Send us your project details! We are happy to do the math for you to ensure you don't run short.
