Why a 12 oz Flyer on the Pollywog
The standard Pollywog ships with a 4 oz flyer for fine to medium yarn. The 12 oz flyer triples the capacity, useful for plying, larger singles, and yarn that's too bulky for the 4 oz bobbin. Both heads use the same Pollywog base, so a single Pollywog can run both sizes by swapping the flyer head.
What's Included
One 12 oz Pollywog flyer head and one 12 oz bobbin. The flyer head is the complete assembly: flyer arm, hooks, whorl, and shaft, ready to drop into the existing Pollywog frame.
Compatibility
The 12 oz flyer is unique to the SpinOlution Pollywog spinning wheel. No other SpinOlution wheel offers a 12 oz flyer. The included 12 oz bobbin is the same 12 oz bobbin sold separately and is Pollywog-specific.
