Replacement drive bands for the SpinOlution Pollywog spinning wheel. The Pollywog uses different bands depending on whether the Accelerator or Orifice Riser is installed. Pick the band you need.

Choose Your Band

  • Standard Band (Drive Wheel to Flyer): the main drive band for a Pollywog without the Accelerator. Connects the drive wheel directly to the flyer head.
  • Extended Band (Drive Wheel to Accelerator): a longer band used in two cases. With the Pollywog Accelerator installed, the Extended Band runs from the drive wheel to the Accelerator. With the Pollywog Orifice Riser installed, the Extended Band replaces the Standard Band to handle the longer drive path created by the raised orifice.
  • Small Band (Accelerator to Flyer): the short band that connects the Accelerator to the flyer head when the Accelerator is installed. Paired with the Extended Band in an Accelerator setup.

Compatibility

Pollywog-specific. Bands are not cross-compatible with other SpinOlution wheel families even when the band layout looks similar. Do not substitute Echo, Monarch, Firefly, Hopper, Bullfrog, or Bee bands. Designed for the SpinOlution Pollywog spinning wheel only.

About Wear Parts

Drive bands are wear items. Replace when the band stretches enough that tension adjustment can't compensate, when slippage causes inconsistent treadling response, or when visible cracking or surface damage develops. SpinOlution does not cover drive bands under the standard 1-year warranty since they're consumables.
